We don’t offer set “Christmas party packages.” Instead, you get the freedom to make your celebration truly yours. Whether that means a classic Christmas office do with fizz, beer, and Secret Santa, a team dinner catered by your favourite local supplier, a fundraising Christmas event with mulled wine and fairy-lit cheer, or just a night with friends to raise a glass to the end of the year.
Whatever you’re planning, the Taproom’s charm — once an 1800s stable block, now a warm and festive hideaway — makes it the perfect place in Tunbridge Wells to celebrate a small Christmas party.
Quick Details
Capacity: 20–50 people
Hire fee: £0 (just a £150 deposit which goes towards your bar tab on the night (refundable up to 3 weeks in advance)
Bar: Fully stocked, including fresh local beer
Atmosphere: Wooden beams, fairy lights, and plenty of cosy seating
Catering: Bring your own / we can arrange catering (our festive buffet) from our resident chef at The George. Taproom drinks only. Pub food and drinks from The George welcome but billed separately.
Location: Just behind The George, Mount Ephraim, Tunbridge Wells
Availability: We take evening bookings until 9pm Sunday to Wednesday and 11pm Thursday to Saturday. (Hours can flex depending on your event and our availability.) Minimum 1 month’s notice required for bookings.
Cocktail service: Not included, but we’re happy to refer you to Bob and Ali (formerly of The Gin Box) for private bookings.
